A St. Luke’s Mass for Catholic health-care professionals will take place Oct. 6 at 2 p.m. at St. Louis Church, 64 S. Main St., Pittsford.
The liturgy will gather physicians, nurses, chaplains and all related professionals and staff involved in any aspect of health care, as well as their families, as they ask God’s blessings upon their work under the patronage of St. Luke. Serving as sponsor for the event is the Finger Lakes Guild of the Diocese of Rochester, a chapter of the Catholic Medical Association (www.fingerlakescma.org). A reception sponsored by the guild will follow the Mass.
