The bands The Skycoasters, It’s My Party and 4 the Record will highlight the 54th-annual St. Rita Church Fiesta from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday, June 6, and 3 to 11 p.m. Saturday, June 7, at St. Rita Church, 1008 Maple Drive, Webster.
Tithe recipient for the fiesta is the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center.
The event will include a variety of carnival games; inflatables for all ages, including a bounce house and a 22-foot giant slide; an obstacle course; laser tag; airbrush tattoos; and crafts. There also will be performing artists, casino games, a Chinese auction, and plant, book and bake sales. There also will be a $10,000 grand-prize raffle; only 5,000 tickets will be sold at $10 each.
Fiesta food will include a fish fry on Friday, a chicken barbecue on Saturday, hots and hamburgers, sausage and peppers, Dunkin’ Donuts coffee, Hank’s Ice Cream, Nancy’s Fried Dough and more.
On Friday, It’s My Party will play songs from the ‘50s and ‘60s from 6 to 7:30 p.m., and 4 the Record also will perform R&B and rock hits from 8 to 10 p.m. On Saturday, the Skycoasters will headline the center stage with dance music from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.
There is no admission fee, and the fiesta will take place rain or shine.
