Turning Point, a ministry of Catholic Charities of Steuben, is currently collecting supplies for its annual back-to-school drive for area students in prekindergarten through 12th grade.
Needed items include: back packs, binders (one-and-half or three inches), calculators, colored pencils, composition notebooks, crayons, ear buds, erasers, two-pocket folders, glue sticks, highlighters, index cards, loose-leaf paper, markers, mechanical pencils, one- and five-subject notebooks, pencil boxes, pencils, plastic bags (gallon and sandwich size), scissors and tissues.
Supplies and monetary donations may be dropped off by Aug. 14 at Turning Point in Bath, 23 Liberty St.; and Turning Point in Hornell, 20 Elm St., Suite 2. Monetary donations also may be mailed to Turning Point’s administrative offices, 23 Liberty St., Bath, NY 14810.
