Catholic schools throughout the Diocese of Rochester welcomed back students this week for the start of the 2021-22 school year. On Sept. 8, St. Agnes School in Avon hosted a coffee hour for parents dropping off their kids, and students at Irondequoit’s St. Kateri School took part in the year’s first school prayer service. On Sept. 9, teachers and staff at St. Mary School in Canandaigua stood outside to welcome incoming students for their first day of classes.
