Holy Cross students, staff and families gathered for a Thanksgiving Mass at Rochester’s Holy Cross Church Nov. 24. Students played an important part, altar serving, reading prayers, singing songs and carrying the gifts and special Thanksgiving offerings to the altar. Father John Reif, who celebrated the Mass, encouraged students to forego technology on Thanksgiving in favor of engaging with family members.
