A Marian conference to celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe will be presented by St. Louis Church, 64 S. Main St., Pittsford, and will feature Edward Sri, a professor of theology and Scripture at the Augustine Institute in Denver. He is an author and is a founding leader of FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students).
On Monday, Dec. 10, Sri will speak on “Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary: What Catholics Really Believe About Mary — and Why.” On Tuesday, Dec. 11, Sri will speak on “Knowing Mary Through the Bible: The Real History of the Mother of Jesus.” On Wednesday, Dec. 12, the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, a Mass will be celebrated with Bishop Matthew H.
