Registration is open for the Turkey Day 5K to be held Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 28, at Notre Dame High School, 1400 Maple Ave., Elmira.
The event will begin at 9 a.m. and is open to runners ages 12 and up. Serving as the official starter will be United States Olympian and American women’s 5000-meter record-holder Molly Huddle, a 2002 Notre Dame graduate who went on to star at the University of Notre Dame. She will sign autographs and pose for pictures.
