Volunteers are sought to support Tioga County Rural Ministry, an Owego-based agency serving the needs of area residents who are poor, sick and elderly.
TCRM depends upon volunteers to help make available a variety of services. Among the ministry’s upcoming activities is the annual spring cleanup for senior citizens on Saturday, April 8. High-school and college students are welcomed to provide interior cleaning and outdoor yard work, and adults are needed as drivers/supervisors. In addition, seniors ages 65 and older in Owego, Apalachin and the town of Owego are invited to contact TCRM regarding their needs.
