Residents of Owego and Apalachin ages 65 or older can receive yard work assistance performed by adult and teen community volunteers on Saturday, April 17.
Volunteers will be on hand between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. to assist, although they will be unable to perform any indoor house chores due to the coronavirus pandemic.
For registration details, call Tioga County Rural Ministry at 607-687-3021. The deadline is March 31, but participation is limited, so those interested are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
