Tioga County Rural Ministry has expressed thanks for the generous community assistance it received during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons from area organizations, churches, businesses, families and individuals.
The ministry noted that it was supported by donations of food, toys, refurbished bicycles, watches, knitted hats, scarves, mittens, gloves, coats, jackets, quilts, ornaments, pillowcases, Angel and Giving Tree gifts, cash and “adopting” families.
“All these efforts, large and small, brightened the world of others and shone a light on a community that cares for its members. We, at TCRM, are immensely proud and grateful to be members of this loving and giving community,” the ministry noted in a statement.
