Volunteers are being sought for two work days to assist families still needing home repairs from the June 2006 flood of the Susquehanna River.
The dates are Saturday, Oct. 13, and Saturday, Oct. 20. Duties will include removing debris, putting in bathroom fixtures, removing mold and more. If you can help, call Angela Klopf at the Catholic Charities Tioga Outreach Center at 607-565-7580.
Monetary donations or gift certificates for building materials also are welcomed. They may be brought or sent to Catholic Charities, 464 Broad St., Waverly, NY 14892.
