An informational meeting about an upcoming tour of Marian shrines will be held June 28 at 1 p.m. at St. Francis and St. Clare Parish’s ministry center, which is located at 35 Center St. in Waterloo.
The pilgrimage will be held Oct. 10-20, and pilgrims will visit the shrines of Fatima in Portugal, Avila and Loyola in Spain, Lourdes in France and Medjugorje in Croatia. Pilgrims will depart from and return to Syracuse Hancock International Airport and will be accompanied by Father Roy Kiggins, resident priest at St. Francis and St. Clare Parish in Waterloo and Seneca Falls.
The tour cost of $3,200 per person and includes all travel, daily breakfasts and dinners, and daily Mass at the shrines, as well as hotel accommodations in a double room. The cost is $3,580 for those who prefer single rooms. An alternative trip is available for those who wish to visit the shrines in Fatima, Avila, Loyola and Lourdes but do not wish to visit Medjugorje. The cost for that trip is $2,795 for double occupancy and $3,095 for a single room.
