A golf tournament to benefit St. Michael School in Penn Yan will be held Aug. 23 at Lakeside Country Club, 200 East Lake Road in Penn Yan.
The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The registration fee of $75 per person or $300 per foursome will cover lunch, 18 holes of golf, a golf cart, buffet dinner and door prizes. Players making a hole-in-one on the ninth hole can win a new car. Interested golfers must register by Aug. 15.

This year, the tournament’s organizers also have planned a sunset cruise along the shores of Keuka Lake. The Esperanza Rose will leave its dock in Branchport at 8:30 p.m. and return at 10:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served onboard, and tickets are $30 per person. Proceeds from the cruise will benefit the school.
