ROCHESTER — Volunteers are needed for a transportation ministry that serves the east side of the city.
The ministry provides transportation to qualifying community members from St. Stanislaus Kostka, St. Frances Xavier Cabrini and Peace of Christ parishes.
The ministry has experienced a recent surge in the number of requests for the service. New drivers are needed, especially in the St. Stanislaus neighborhood. Volunteers receive training from Lifespan as well as supplemental car insurance for driving clients. Volunteers must use their own vehicles and will receive a small reimbursement fee for mileage.
