John Malnoske, Physical Education teacher at the Holy Family schools in Elmira, promised the girls 7th Grade middle school basketball team that if they beat longtime rival Horseheads in the final game of the season – they could paint his head any color they wished. Uh-Oh, the girls took his words seriously and knocked off the Horseheads team by a substantial margin. Thankfully, John keeps his "palette" very smooth and clean, so the finish coat of bright orange went on without a problem. No sanding was required.
