Turning Point launches drive in Steuben

Turning Point, a ministry of Catholic Charities of Steuben, is currently collecting supplies for its annual back-to-school drive for area students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

Needed items include backpacks, notebooks (one- and five-subject), binders (one-and-a-half or three inches), calculators, college rule and wide rule loose leaf paper, colored pencils, composition notebooks, crayons, ear buds, eraser toppers, erasers, glue sticks, highlighters, index cards, markers, mechanical pencils (0.7), No. 2 pencils, pens, pencil boxes, sticky notes, rulers, scissors, and two-pocket folders.

Items may be dropped off by Aug. 14 at Turning Point in Bath, 23 Liberty St.; and by Aug. 21 at Turning Point in Hornell, 20 Elm St. Monetary donations are being accepted through Aug. 14 at both Turning Point locations as well.
