Affordable two-bedroom apartments for seniors ages 55 and older are available at St. Salome Apartments on Culver Road in Irondequoit.
St. Salome Apartments is managed by Providence Housing Development Corp., an affiliate of diocesan Catholic Charities. Built in 2009, the apartments are accessible or adaptable for people with disabilities. Each apartment has an equipped kitchen, spacious living-dining areas and laundry hookups, community laundry facilities, a community room, a library and a patio. Income and occupancy requirements apply. Heat and hot water are included with the rent. Small domestic pets are welcome with a deposit and approval.
