Urges boycott of TV station

To the editor:

The Parent’s Television Council (P-TV-C), an organization that keeps a watchful eye on prime time TV programming for the appropriateness and the morality of materials viewed, has asked all people who value purity, truth and the immortal souls of their children to boycott Channel 10 (MSNBC) because of their airing of a new weekly program called "The Playboy Club". The P-TV-C strongly suggests boycotting the sponsors of this program also.

The NBC affiliate in Salt Lake City has decided NOT to air this program for their viewing audience because they consider it below the moral standards of their community. A president has been set! Our NBC affiliate can cancel the program too! It is up to us — with the help of the Almighty God — to do our part to see that they do so!

Call and write the station manager and VP, Derek Dalton; express your displeasure in a Christian manner then proceed to follow through and boycott the channel and the advertisers of the program.

How often we complain about the lack of morals in our day. Now we have a chance to do something about it! Things are never going to get better unless WE do our part-with prayer-to change this descent in to the abyss!
