This fall St. Patrick Parish in Victor will offer Discovering Christ, which is a seven-week program designed to help participants mature in their relationship with God and equip them to share their faith. Discovering Christ is one component of the ChristLife Program, which was founded in Baltimore in 1995 in response to St. John Paul II’s call to evangelize.
St. Patrick’s Discovering Christ program will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. each Thursday evening between Oct. 6 and Nov. 17 in the St. Patrick Parish Center, located at 115 Maple Ave. in Victor. Each session will begin with a welcome and a complimentary dinner followed by a presentation and a small-group discussion. The program does not require homework or reading and is open to everyone 18 and older, regardless of whether or not they are Catholic or are regular church-goers. Organizers say participants will have the opportunity to meet new friends, experience God’s love and develop a more profound relationship with Christ.
