A rosary for priestly vocations with a Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, at St. Anne Church, 1600 Mt. Hope Ave., Rochester.
Father William Leone, pastoral administrator of St. Cecilia Parish in Irondequoit, will reflect on the sorrowful mysteries. Father Dennis Bonsignore, chaplain at Monroe Community Hospital, will preside. Both are members of the Blessed Damien of Molokai Knights of Columbus Council 11411, which has hosted the vocation rosaries four times at St. Anne since May 2007.
Beginning in December, the prayer services will move to different churches around the diocese. The locations have not yet been determined. Congregational singing led by a cantor and organist has been a hallmark of the rosaries at St. Anne.
