Registration is open for the spring volunteer-training program at Southern Tier Hospice & Palliative Care.
Classes will be held April 4, 6, 8, 12 and 14. Each session will run from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. and take place at the Evealyn B. Marks Hospice Center, 11751 E. Corning Road, Corning. This 20-hour program will touch upon several end-of-life issues as well as the important role of a hospice volunteer. One credit hour from Corning Community College will be awarded for successful completion of the class.
