Waterloo church to host Mass, exposition, Benediction, rosary

A celebration of Marian devotion will take place June 25 at St. Mary Church, located at 33 Center St. in Waterloo.

The event, organized by the Queen of Peace Apostolate, will begin at 6 p.m. with exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction, followed by a recitation of the rosary. Mass will begin at 7 p.m. and will be celebrated by Father Paul Bonacci. The Mass will be followed by a healing service.

The celebration is open to the public and coincides with the 40th anniversary of a reported Marian apparition at Medjugorje, a village in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
