A rummage sale to benefit St. Mary Parish in Waterloo has been postponed. The sale was originally supposed to take place in June, but will now be held in mid- to late July. The postponement will allow the parish more time to solicit donated items to sell, said Janet Rogers Brown, parish secretary.
The parish is still soliciting such items for the sale, including household items, books and clothing in good condition. These items may be dropped off at the parish center, which is located at 35 Center St. The sale will take place in the gymnasium of the parish center, which was formerly St. Mary’s School.
