Wayne County parish’s discussion series showcases local authors, travelers

St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish recently launched the second series of its popular TAB Talks, which first debuted last March.

During each of these talks, one or more parishioners will give a brief presentation related to either travel or books, and the presentation will be followed by an equally brief question-and-answer session. Snacks will be available throughout each session.

During the first session on Sept. 8, Jean and George Bell talked about ways to compile family history in book form. On Oct. 13, Rita and Bill Lesniak will talk about their tour of China. On Nov. 10, Michelle Haak Hill will share her experiences in Thailand. And several authors who belong to the parish will speak during the Dec. 8 session, which also will feature a book fair showcasing their works.

Each talk will take place immediately following the 10:30 a.m. Mass at Church of the Epiphany, located at 105 W. Main St. in Sodus.
