Parishioners and friends of Rochester’s Holy Family and Holy Apostles churches will walk together in their annual fundraiser event “We Walk By Faith” from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15.
Participants gather monetary pledges, and proceeds will be used for ministry to shut-ins and to expand youth and young-adult programs. Funds also will help expand other community ministries and neighborhood outreach.
The three-mile walk will start and end at Holy Apostles, with registration and a light breakfast at 9 a.m. and an 11 a.m. lunch and distribution of prizes to walkers who gathered pledges of $125 or more.
