St. Joseph’s Hospital, Elmira, is offering a six-week weight-management program for the public. Called “Nutrition for Life,” it’s slated to begin Feb. 2.
Classes will take place each Wednesday from 5-6 p.m. in the hospital’s Cusick Meeting Room. In addition, “Nutrition for Life” incorporates four individual counseling sessions and one additional discussion with a registered dietician.
Participants may register, or have their physicians register them, by calling 607/733-6541, ext. 333, between 8 a.m. and noon, Monday through Friday. Part of the cost may be covered by health-insurance reimbursements.
