When voting, think pro-life

To the editor:

I have read the March 2008 issue of the Catholic Courier and the concern over Gov. Spitzer’s proposed Reproductive Health and Privacy Protection Act. I know many priests and nuns in the Catholic Diocese and have discussed with them the fact that they mostly support the Democratic Party in the state and national elections. I have frequently asked them why they support a Pro-Abortion Party. They tell me that the Democratic Party gives more to the poor than the Republican Party. Guess what? Your Democratic party is in support of Abortion For All, Killing of innocent babies!

How can you all sleep at night knowing that you have voted for the killing of innocent human beings! Why not put the power of the Catholic Church behind the Pro-Life Republican Party and lobby them for support of the needs of the poor? I have found that when people say it is “not about the money”, “IT IS ABOUT THE MONEY!!”
