Who has final say?

To the editor:

Pope Francis I is setting notable examples of simple living and outreach in love for all that have been central to Christianity. I hope he will take note of the recent public statements by Cardinal Nicholas de Jesus Lopez Rodriguez, Archbishop of Santo Domingo, concerning the plight of the over 200,000 now stateless people in his spiritual domain. He says no one can tell them in the (Dominican Republic) what to do. Does that include the Lord God?
