St. Peter Parish in Ontario County will hold a wine-tasting fundraiser May 19 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the parish center, located on the grounds of St. Dominic Church at the corner of Route 21 and Main Street in Shortsville.
The event will feature winemaker William Ouweleen, who will present an educational tasting experience using Finger Lakes wines made by O-Neh-Da and Eagle Crest Vineyards in Conesus. The evening also will feature a basket raffle. Refreshments will be available as well.
The event will raise money for the Building Preservation Fund of St. Peter Parish, which comprises St. Dominic, St. Felix Church in Clifton Springs and St. Francis Church in Phelps. The tasting is open to those 21 and older and is sponsored by St. Peter’s Knights of Columbus and Women’s Auxiliary.
