To the editor:
You used a CNS story in the latest edition, which stated: “As the second razor-thin presidential election in a row was called Nov. 3 for President George W. Bush, analysts scrambled to interpret the results while others looked ahead to soothing bitter partisanship from the campaign.”
I worked as a journalist for more than 20 years and now teach journalism. A 3-million-vote difference and a 3-percent margin of victory is not razor thin.
