The Diocese of Rochester’s Women’s Commission is inviting both women and men to apply for or to nominate someone for membership on the commission.
The group — whose mission is to bring to the attention of the Diocese of Rochester global, national and local issues concerning women in the church and society — meets six times a year.
To obtain a nomination form, visit the diocesan Web site at www.dor.org, go to “Offices and Ministries,” click on “Parish Support Ministry,” go to “Women’s Commission” at left and scroll down to “WC 2005 Nomination Form.” Nomination forms, which also may be obtained at parish offices, are due by Aug. 1.
