St. Michael’s Woodshop was commemorated for fifty years of service to the Rochester community during a May 13 celebration. Visitors were invited to take a tour of the woodshop, originally a ministry of the Sisters of Mercy, and watch demonstrations from students. Woodshop founder Sister Pat Flynn was also honored during the celebration. St. Michael’s teaches teens life skills through woodworking.
