A three-day yard sale at 1710 Buffalo Road to benefit St. Francis House will take place from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9; Friday, Aug. 10; and Saturday, Aug. 11. The three-day sale features toys, furniture, tools, household items and baby items.
Each year, Deacon Angelo Coccia hosts the sale on his front lawn to raise funds for the poor helped by St. Francis House. Proceeds are used for food baskets at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. Donations also are made throughout the year to other agencies that assist the poor or help individuals.
