Hundreds gathered at Rochester’s St. Stanislaus Kostka Church June 3 to participate in a Mass and eucharistic procession to mark the feast of Corpus Christi and the conclusion of the diocesan Year of the Eucharist. Bishop Salvatore R. Matano carried the Blessed Sacrament in the procession, preceded by children who sprinkled flower petals on the ground. Five of the children wore their first Communion outfits, while the rest were dressed in traditional Polish attire.
