To celebrate World Youth Day 2019, the Diocese of Rochester’s young-adult ministry is organizing a trip to Washington, D.C., to participate in the Archdiocese of Washington’s stateside celebration.
Pope Francis will celebrate World Youth Day Jan. 22-27 in Panama City, Panama. The Archdiocese of Washington’s celebration, “Panama in the Capital,” will be Jan. 26 at Catholic University of America.
The Washington event will feature nationally known speakers and musicians; opportunities to participate in the sacrament of reconciliation, Mass and adoration; and fellowship with other young adults from across the country.
The cost is $85 per person and includes event activities, round-trip transportation and accommodations. Event-only tickets are $20 each. The deadline to register is Jan. 4.
