"Walk With Me: Our Local Answer to God’s Global Outcry" will serve as the theme of the 2012 Diocesan Catholic Youth Conference.
The conference is a one-day event from noon to 9 p.m. Participants may register for either of two sessions: on Saturday, Nov. 10, at Elmira Catholic Formation Center (formerly Holy Family Junior High School), 1010 Davis St., Elmira; or Sunday, Nov. 11, at Aquinas Institute, 1127 Dewey Ave., Rochester.
Serving as keynote speaker at both sessions will be Gerry Straub, a filmmaker who specializes in productions about the lives of the poor around the globe. Other scheduled events are workshops for both youths and parents as well as a closing liturgy for all.
