The youth groups of St. Cecilia and St. Salome’s parishes in Irondequoit are sponsoring a Battle of the Bands competition on Aug. 21.
All demos from serious musicians should be sent to Sara Schmerbeck at St. Cecilia’s Parish, 2732 Culver Road, Rochester, NY 14622, by July 20. The winning band will be awarded recording time at the Word of Mouth Recording Studio.
