Magnificat Rochester Women’s Breakfast

Kim Rodriguez-Torres, who founded a prayer-blanket ministry to honor her cancer-stricken niece, will be the guest speaker at the next Magnificat Rochester Women’s Breakfast June 11 at Brook-Lea Country Club. Seating will begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by the meal and program from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Rodriguez-Torres, a Florida resident, has served for six years on the Central Service Team, or governing body, of Magnificat International. She began Bella’s Blanket of Blessings after her four-year-old niece was diagnosed with a fatal brain tumor. The fleece lap blankets are sent around the world to those in need of prayer.
