Memorial Day events at St. Martin de Porres Parish

St. Martin de Porres is honoring Memorial Day with events May 29 and 30. On Sunday, May 29, following the 11 a.m. Mass at St. Vincent de Paul Church (11 North Main Street, Churchville), there will be a blessing of the graves at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery.

On Monday, May 30, there will be a Memorial Day Mass at St. Columba Cemetery (3333 Brown Rd, Caledonia) at 8:30 a.m. In the event of rain, the Mass will take place at St. Columba Church (198 North Street, Caledonia).

There is a Memorial Day parade in Scottsville at 9:30 a.m. The parade will start on Beckwith Avenue and continue down Rochester Street to Main Street and end at the Post Home, 61 Main Street, just a block from St. Mary Church.
