ROC the Day for Catholic Charities

It’s the most wonderful time of year! ROC the Day is a 24-hour day of giving powered by the United Way of Greater Rochester. This Giving Tuesday support the community causes you care about by donating to those who need it most from one secure location.

ROC the Day donations to the Catholic Courier/Catholic Charities Christmas Appeal enable Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Rochester to provide small, emergency grants to people — regardless of faith, race, ethnic and economic background — who are in financial crisis. Funds generated by this annual campaign in previous years have been used to cover utility bills, security deposits, rent or mortgage payments, urgent home repairs, gas, prescriptions and other expenses for individuals and families who are either awaiting or ineligible for other types of assistance. Every donation — large or small — gives people hope and helps them get back on the road to independence.
