St. Paul Eucharistic Revival Series

St. Paul Church will be hosting a Eucharistic Revival Series entitled “The Eucharist: Source and Summit of our Faith.” The evenings will run one Wednesday evening each month from November through May and will feature different speakers sharing their knowledge on various topics related to the Eucharist. Each evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the worship area. Livestream will also be available.
The guest speakers are:
November 9: Father Peter Van Lieshout , rector of Sacred Heart Cathedral, will talk about the history of the Eucharist
December 7: Dr. Matthew Kuhner, Academic Dean and Assistant Professor of Systematic Theology at St. Bernard’s School of Theology and Ministry, will talk about Mary and the Eucharist.
January 4: Sister of St. Joseph Karen Dietz will speak on the community elements in the celebration of the Eucharist.
February 1: Lisa Lickona, Assistant Professor of Systematic Theology at St. Bernard’s School of Theology and Ministry, will talk about the saints devotion to the Eucharist.
March 8: Father Peter Mottola, pastor of Peace of Christ Parish in Rochester, will present a talk on the hidden roots of the Eucharist in the Old Testatment.
April 19: Father Bob Kennedy, a senior priest in the Diocese of Rochester, will talk about the real presence of the Eucharist.
May 3: Christine Kvam, Director of Campus Ministry at Our Lady of Mercy High School, will talk about becoming Eucharistic people.
