Saturday, June 13, 2020

9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

The Department of Pastoral Services is holding a Drive-thru Food & Supply Drive for Migrant families on Saturday, June 13.  Like so many people, migrants are struggling during this challenging time and do not have access to resources. Items needed are: Evaporation Carnation milk, dried pinto beans, long-grain white rice, pasta for soup (Barilla, Moderna), Maseca (specific corn flour), all-purpose wheat flour, all-purpose flour, Mazola oil, canned tuna, cookies & crackers, potatoes, Nestle Chocolate Abuelita, decaf and regular coffee (instant, group), sugar, hygiene supplies, laundry and cleaning supplies, and Walmart gift cards.

Volunteers will be wearing a mask, gloves and practicing social distancing. Please wear a mask and stay in your vehicle, but place your items where a volunteer can easily collect it; for instance, in the trunk of the vehicle.

To mail in a donation, please address it to Diocese of Rochester Migrant Ministry, (note FOOD & SUPPLY DRIVE in memo), Attn: Bernard Grizard, Pastoral Services, 1150 Buffalo Road, Rochester, NY 14624.
