On Feb. 17 Colin Clinton of Fencing Fundamentals paid a visit to Seton Catholic School in Brighton, where he gave students a hands-on lesson in fencing. Students learned the basic movements and vocabulary of the sport before getting a chance to don the equipment and try it themselves. Each student wore a mask and chest protector and sparred with a partner using a foil, which is a light, flexible thrusting sword. As some students lunged and parried, others cheered them from the sidelines. (Click here to view more photos from this event and/or buy prints.)
