This is your chance to become a reporter!
To get started, just click the “Submit a story” button on the special website created just for this purpose. In the “Summary” box at the top of the form, please list your name and phone number, the name of the event, the date and the name of the sponsoring organization.
The “Story” box is where you will type or paste in the facts of the story, but please provide your email address as the first line of text in the Story box. The system will not accept your submission without a valid email address at the top of this box.
Then just tell us what happened. Don’t worry too much about the writing, as our staff will happily polish up your article — and even give you a byline!
You also can attach photographs, flyers or other information using the “Attach files” button. Make sure you do not submit images copyrighted by another individual or organization.
When you’re done, just click the “Submit for Review” button to send the story and/or photos to our staff.
Within a couple of business days, all appropropriate submissions will appear in one or more sections of this site, depending on the subject matter and location. Only very rarely, however, will online submissions be used in a print edition of the Catholic Courier.
We generally will not assign a reporter or photographer to follow up on information submitted through this form. If you prefer to request staff coverage of your story, please contact us at least two weeks in advance.
