    Walk raises climate change awareness

    Jeff Witherow | Catholic Courier
    Published 09.23.2019

Members of Rochester’s interfaith community participated in a tree-planting walk in Brighton Sept. 22 to show faith-based support for youths who are calling for action on climate change. Participants in the walk, which was sponsored by Rochester Interfaith Climate Action, planted trees at the Islamic Center of Rochester, McQuaid Jesuit High School, Temple B'rith Kodesh and Twelve Corners Presbyterian Church.
